PROFESSIONAL:

Born in Charlotte, North Carolina, Brian joined with Adam Gess to form McDaniel & Gess, LLC in May 2002. Prior to partnering with Mr. Gess in 2002, Brian worked for a law firm in Beaufort South Carolina with a focus on civil litigation. He is a graduate of Furman University and earned a Juris Doctorate from the University Of South Carolina School Of Law. Mr. McDaniel teaches as an adjunct Professor for the Paralegal Program at the Technical College of the Lowcountry and serves on the College's Paralegal Program Advisory Committee. He is a member of the South Carolina Bar, the Beaufort County Bar, and the South Carolina Trial Lawyers Association. He is admitted to practice law in the South Carolina Supreme Court, The United States Federal District Court for the District of South Carolina and United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.

PERSONAL:

Brian McDaniel currently serves as Chairman of the Nonprofit Beaufort Women's Center. He is an active member of Community Bible Church of Beaufort. He is married and has two children. In his spare time he enjoys golf, fishing and the outdoors as well as spending time with his children.
