Born in Jackson, Mississippi, Adam joined with Brian McDaniel to form McDaniel & Gess, LLC in May 2002. Prior to partnering with Mr. McDaniel in 2002, Adam worked for a law firm in York County South Carolina. He is a graduate of Davidson College and earned a Juris Doctorate from the University Of South Carolina School Of Law. Mr. Gess has served on the Architectural Review Committee for Pleasant Point Subdivision and is a member of the Lady's Island Business & Professional Association. Mr. Gess is a certified agent for title insurance through Stewart Title. He is a member of the South Carolina Bar and the Beaufort County Bar. He is admitted to practice law in the South Carolina Supreme Court, The United States Federal District Court for the District of South Carolina and United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.

PERSONAL:

Adam Gess is a member of Okatie Presbyterian Church where he serves as a Deacon. He is married and has four children. He frequently serves as a coach for local youth sports as well as for the high school mock trial team. He enjoys golf and tennis and is an avid football fan.
